Engine Design Consultation

Extreme Engine Packages

For enthusiasts looking for a "turn-key" engine conversion, we offer a few standard combinations, starting at 372 cubic inches (4.00 bore, 3.70 stroke) using the OEM crankshaft. We can also duplicate the 700+hp 12:1 427 cubic inch engine. We even have access to the full-race flat-plane crankshafts like those used in the 1997 Lotus GT-1 race LT5s.

LT5 Performance Engine Hardware

We offer the following hard to find components to unlock the full potential of extreme LT5s:

Billet steel camshafts
Main Bearing Studs
Head studs
Cylinder liners

Valve guides, retainers, springs and seats

ZR-1 Specific Troubleshooting

We can help pinpoint problems with the ZR-1, particularly engine malfunctions. Driveability problems can be diagnosed with the use of datalogging software.

LT5 Engine Calibrations

We have disassembled and documented the entire contents of the LT5 engine calibration. Whether you are looking to optimize a stock LT5, ported engine, or extreme combination, we can create a custom calibration to control the engine.

Engine Performance Modeling

Using high-end, OEM level engine simulation software, we can virtually test potential modifications before you invest in expensive hardware. Our models can predict LT5 engine performance to within 1% in most cases.
